Outfit Ideas - What to Wear to a Photoshoot
Many people ask the question: What do I wear to a photoshoot?
I have compiled together a set of outfit ideas to help out the ladies.
My advice: When you book a photoshoot, GO ALL OUT. You are taking professional photos thus it is best to look your best. If it means putting on a little bit of makeup, wearing uncomfortable high heels and standing till I get the perfect shot of you, then so be it. It is only an hour and a half of your life, and the end result will be a memory you will cherish forever. You want to look back on it and say, "damn I look good"... ;)

Rose
Where do I begin to tell you the story behind the lovely young lady you will view in the below photos. I have know Rose since 2002, when I first set foot in Canada. We have seen each other grow right before our very eyes. We have transitioned from troubled, angst filled teens to educated young women ready to embark on a promising future and a fulfilling career. Like many people, we have had our fair share of ups and downs, however we always manage to get past them and move on, realizing that the friendship we have is far too important to let bygones affect it. Although her and I tend to butt heads and have different opinions, our natures easily get along. She tells me that it is okay to not be so tough sometimes, and I tell her to stop being so mushy and idealistic. Those simple words happen to describe our interesting yet unique relationship. Her pure heart and warm smile are some of the characteristics that make her lovely, and no...shes not lovely just because shes my friend, which is a valid point, but she is lovely because she is a whole person, a person who is comfortable in her own skin and has found herself. That is why we get along, that is why we butt heads, and that is why i love her.
Without further ado, I present to you, the lovely Rose ...

Sonia
I met Sonia during my first day at my summer school teaching job. I remember walking to my classroom with my tools in hand, opening the door and feeling quite nervous about the first day and how I would handle it with the students, wondering "what if they ask me to go to the washroom every 5 minutes?". I walked out the door to the hallway and went to my neighbor two doors down. I walked in and introduced myself to the Grade 5 teacher, Miss Sonia Thomas. As Sonia explained to me that the nervous feeling is mutual, I began to feel at ease. Sonia is a very relaxed and down to earth person. Her and I hit it off immediately as soon as we started talking. She is lots of fun to talk to and hang out with. She also loves Adele (the singer) and also studied History in University, so you can imagine how we really hit it off.
Here are a few shots of Ms. Thomas,
