Doreen In Wonderland

One day, a young model contacted me and asked me to shoot. As I looked through her portfolio I realized that she is unlike the others who seem to lack pizazz, so I contacted her back and we set up a shoot for Thursday July 29th. I had no idea what to expect from Doreen upon meeting her; however, I must add that I was ever glad I got to set up this shoot with her. She chose the Music Gardens in Downtown, Toronto for a location. Neither of us have been there before and so we took the Spadina Streetcar expecting to go to this massive beautiful Garden just like we saw on Google Images, however...it wasn't so massive at all. In fact it was quite small and literally a short walk in length. Nonetheless, the location was beautiful, yet it didn't give us the variety we were looking for. However, Doreen took what she had to work with and transformed it into art. With her Alice in Wonderland inspired idea for the shoot, she came ready and dressed just for the part with her cute Blue dress, white clip on hair bow and all the extra props which you will see in the pictures, Doreen was truly an Alice. She not only took direction well but she also had a great personality and a fantastic attitude. I loved working with her on this idea and I'm quite happy with how her photos turned out.
