An Experiment - Avant Garde

I was flipping through a magazine once and saw a splash of a model with an enormous amount of makeup on. No, not any regular makeup, but makeup with crazy funky colours, feathers, and lots of drawings...on the face ! So I had a vision, and decided that I would really like to get some shots like that, nothing editorial/magazine type, but something that is more like me. I decided to do this by infusing the elements of nature with something that looks unnatural and unlike anything we see today. So I posted the casting call and got a reply from the great Valini, a makeup artist whose work is truly outstanding and you can see it here. I was also contacted by two great models, Monika and Shannon. They did an outstanding job as each girl had a unique and completely different look. You can see how my vision transformed to life here.
